Homes and Land Magazine -- Now’s Your Chance

Thursday July 3, 2008
Homes and Land Magazine is a 30-year-old giant focused on the special niche found in real estate--sales and service. The media consolidation of the 1990’s affected the magazine industry too, and today the top four publishers, Time Warner, Hearst, Advance and PRIMEDIA, control about 50% of the Magazine market. Logic says that this would not have happened if advertising wasn’t so lucrative. If you follow the big boys around you will eventually find the gold and with Homes and Land Magazine, target advertisers are used to spending big money on ads.

Homes & Land Magazine exposes advertisers to buyers like no other. Their website is easy to navigate and they hold hands with advertisers offering advertising templates and suggestions that make spending money a pleasure. Magazines are traditionally stored in racks outside of airports, businesses and stores, but are direct mailed to “people actively engaged in buying and selling real estate including Home Sellers, FSBOs, Major Employers, Professional Offices, Chamber of Commerce and Top producing Agents” (Homes &Lands, 2008).

Online Advertisers find their hands held every step of the way. Easy navigation creates loyal advertisers who can create flyers, promote listings, display featured properties with multiple photos and virtual tours, and most importantly, who capture and respond to leads. People love convenience. Homes & Land Magazine seems to have perfected the concept. If you are looking to stay away from the typical food franchise this might be for you.
