Black Friday Stats - Finally Good News for the Economy

After hearing bad news every day about the economy it is great to finally hear a bit of good news. The 2008 Black Friday results are in and they are an improvement from last year.

2008 Black Friday Stats:

  • 172 Million Shoppers
  • $10.6 Billion in Sales
  • Shoppers spend on average $373
  • There was a 7% overall increase from 2007
While most of us were sleeping shoppers made it out by 5 a.m. to start there shopping sprees. Don't worry if you missed Black Friday's deals today is Cyber Monday and most online retailers are offering great deals.
